Devotees will have to register online for Banke Bihari darshan. Only 200 registrations will be allowed at a time. Not more than five people will be given entry after proper thermal screening and sanitisation; those exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed. Physical distancing masks and aadhar card will be mandatory.

Vrindavan, 2020-10-16 (VT): After Govind Dev, Radha Damodar and Radhavallabh, another much-awaited darshan of Vrindavan’s two prominent deities Shri Radharaman and Banke Bihari will be opening for devotees from October 17, i.e. tomorrow.

Being the first day of Sharad Navratri, it is a particularly auspicious occasion. The Radharaman Mandir Panchayat has however decided to allow the general public just for a week now.

Panchayat secretary Shri Padmanabha Goswami said that only shringaar and sandhya aarti darshan will be allowed. The future course of action will be decided later.

The Banke Bihari temple administration is nevertheless circumspect due to concerns regarding crowd management and implementation of safety guidelines. In accordance with the court’s order devotees will have to register online (www.shreebankeybihari.com) for darshan. Only 200 registrations will be allowed at a time.

Darshan timing will be 8.00 am to 12 pm and evening 5.30 to 9.30 pm. Not more than five people will be given entry after proper thermal screening and sanitisation; those exhibiting symptoms will not be allowed. Physical distancing masks and aadhar card will be mandatory.
