This is the place which Shri Loknath Goswami Pada chose as his Bhajansthali. Thakur Shri Radha Vinod ji manifested to Shri Loknath Goswami Pada at this place from near by pond of Kishori Kund. This is also the place where Shri Lokenath Goswami Pada accepted Shri Narottam Thakur as his one and only disciple after seeing his unconditional self – surrender to his Lotus feet.

Braj will see a historic day on the 12^th January, 2021, when Shri Radha Rani’s deity as Vrindavaneshwar, ‘King of Vrindavan’, will be installed at Omrai village of Braj Dham.  The deity of Rai Raja i.e ‘King Radha’ will be seated on the throne after performing Mahabhishek by the prominent saints of Braj. Hundreds of saints and devotees are expected to witness this grand event.

This is the place where Shri Krishna Himself crowned Shri Radha as the king of Vrindavan, and Himself accepted the humble position of a Gatekeeper of Shri Radha Rani’s palace. This Lila of the Divine Couple is mentioned elaborately in ‘Bhakti Ratnakar’.  Some temples in Vrindavan celebrate this lila on the last day of the ‘Jhulanotsava’, by decorating the deities as the King and a Kotwal.

Omrai is one of the long lost forgotten ancient ‘Lila sthali’ of Shri Krishna and His Divine Consort Shri Radha. A new temple has been built to commemorate the ‘Rai Raja’ lila of the Divine Couple.

Prabhupada Prem Gopal Goswami, the 14^th descendent of Shriman Nityananda Prabhu, Radha Kund Mahant Shri Keshav Das Babaji, Shri Vinod Bihari Das Babaji of Varsana, Shri Murari Das Babaji Maharaj, Pandit Vaishnavapada Das Babaji Maharaj, Omrai Mahant Shri Parameshwar Das Babaji are some names who are likely to be present during the event.
