After following all the required rituals the deity of Shri Radha Rani was installed at the newly built temple on by Virakta saint Shri Pran Krishna Das Baba ji of Radha Kund.
Radharani crowned as 'Rai Raja' by the Braj Saints
Thousands of devotees witnessed the Coronation Ceremony of Shri Radha Rani as the ‘King of Vrindavan’ at Umraya village of Chhata in Braj on Tuesday. Villagers in large numbers from the surrounding villages thronged Kishori Kund to witness the 'historic event'. The Coronation ceremony was participated by the saints from around Braj Mandal. A new temple surrounded by the groves was dedicated to Shri Radha amid the Vedic chants by the Brajwasi Brahmins. It was a double celebration as Shri Radha Vinod ji manifested to Shri Loknath Goswami Pada on this day.

After following all the required rituals the deity of Shri Radha Rani was installed at the newly built temple by Virakta saint 108 Shri Pran Krishna Das Baba ji Maharaj of Radha Kund.
Prayers were sung in glorification and obeisance of Shri Radha Rani by the Babaji saints from Radhakunda. Several Vaishnavacharyas present there, glorified Brajeshwari Shri Radha Rani as the most compassionate and merciful to the devotees.
Different scholarly saints were invited to recite the pastimes of the Divine Couple at the Omrai village. The speakers narrated how Shri Radha was crowned as the 'King of Vrindavan' by Shri Krishna, who accepted the humble position of a Gateman (Kotwal) Himself at Radharanis palace.
The speakers also glorified Shri Loknath Goswami Pada to whom Shri Radha Vinod ji was manifested. He chose Omrai village as his Bhajansthali. Shri Radha Vinod ji made their appearance in the pond called Kishori Kund of the Village Omrai. This is also the place where Shri Loknath Goswami Pada accepted Shri Narottam Thakur as his one and only disciple after seeing his unconditional self – surrender to his Lotus feet. The contribution of Shri Narottam Das Thakur to spread Goudiya Vaishnavism was also narrated by different speakers.
Omrai, now known as Umraya is one of the long lost forgotten ancient ‘Lila sthali’ of Shri Krishna and Divine Consort Shri Radha. The deity of Shri Radha Rani was installed in a new temple to commemorate the ‘Rai Raja’ lila of the Divine Couple.
The festive spirit prevailed among the villagers of the Umraya village as they helped decorating the entire premises with balloons.
A grand feast and mass distribution of Prasadam was organised after the event of coronation. More than seven thousand villagers and devotees took Mahaprasad on this occasion. The feast which began at 12 in the afternoon continued till late evening.
