2025.10.11 (Vrindavan Today News): A case of molestation of a girl in a hotel has come to light in Vrindavan. The allegation is that a young man lured the girl by promising to get her a token for special darshan of a saint. The accused called the girl, who is a resident of Agra, to Vrindavan, and later molested her after giving her an intoxicating drink in a coffee shop. The victim lodged a complaint with the police, following which a case has been registered and investigation has begun.
The girl told police in her complaint that she got in touch with the accused Sundaram Rajput through Instagram. The young man introduced himself as a devotee connected with the temple and assured her that he could arrange a token for her to have special darshan of a prominent saint. On his request, the girl came to Vrindavan in a car. The accused met her there and said that the car can’t go further. He offered her to give a ride on motorbike.
He took her to his office at Radha Krishna Dham, where he led her into a room. There, he gave her a drink laced with intoxicants. The girl said that after consuming it, she lost consciousness. Taking advantage of the situation, Sundaram Rajput molested her and recorded obscene photos and videos.
According to the victim, after gaining consciousness, the accused threatened her with the photos and videos and even called her to a hotel named Vaibhav Palace in Agra, where he again molested her.
Police officer Sandeep Singh said that the victim’s complaint has been registered and investigation is underway. He added that efforts are being made to arrest the accused soon.
