Acharya Abhinav Goswami Enlightens Devotees with Profound Bhagvat Wisdom at Gokulananda Temple
2025.11.03 (Vrindavan Today News): At the revered Shri Radha Gokulanand Temple in Vrindavan, the ongoing Shrimad Bhagavat Katha Mahotsav has become a centre of divine inspiration and devotion. The discourse is being delivered by Acharya Abhinav Goswami, a sevayat of Shri Radha Raman Mandir, who has been captivating the audience with his sweet speech and deep philosophical insights, offering them a rare taste of the Bhagavat Ras.
The seven-day katha has been drawing large gatherings of devotees every day, all eager to immerse themselves in the nectar of the Bhagavat.
A distinctive feature of the event has been Acharya Abhinav Goswami’s commitment to the traditional style of narrating the Bhagavat. In an age when music and dramatization often dominate religious storytelling, he chose to retain the authentic classical form—presenting the divine pastimes of Lord Krishna through Sanskrit verses, scriptural interpretation, and philosophical exposition rather than musical embellishment. His graceful voice and balanced expression filled the atmosphere with pure devotional emotion.

The highlight of the week was his exposition on the Raas Panchadhyayi, especially the Gopi Geet, which moved the audience deeply. The way he described the Gopis’ pangs of separation and their pure love for Shri Krishna brought tears to many eyes. The entire temple resounded with chants of “Aho Bhāgyam!” and “Jai Radhe Shyam!” as listeners became completely absorbed in devotion.
Acharya Goswami emphasized that the Shrimad Bhagavatam is not merely a scripture but a path of complete surrender to the Lord. Through his discourse, he beautifully integrated the essence of devotion, detachment, and divine wisdom.
The katha concluded on November 3, following aarti and prasadam distribution in the temple courtyard. Devotees expressed heartfelt gratitude to Acharya Abhinav Goswami, considering his blessings a rare and sacred fortune in their lives.
Prominent attendees who relished the Bhagavat discourse included Acharya Shrivatsa Goswami, Smt. Sandhya Goswami, Smt. Neerja Sharma, Smt. Shilpi Goswami, Mahant Madhumangal Sharan Das Shukla, Rohit Lad, Nehali Bhagat, and Atmaram Das, among others.
