2022.12.12 (Vrindavan Today News): Another case of growing high headedness priests has come to limelight in the Braj region. A group of Pilgrims visiting Daan Ghati Temple at Goverdhan had to face abuses and assault by temple priests. Local police have registered a case against the priests after a complaint was filed by a female victim.
It has come to light that victim Anjali, who hails from Muzaffarnagar district had come to worship at the temple along with her husband Kuldip Kumar last Monday afternoon. When Anjali was returning from the back door of the temple, one of the priests started misbehaving with her. When her husband protested, other priests of the temple too joined in assaulting and abusing the couple. Kuldip suffered head injury in the scuffle. Afterwards culprit priests fled from the scene.
The victims approached local police station and filed a case against priest Govind and his sleuth. Police inspector Nitin Kasana has taken cognizance of the incident and has started investigation in the matter.
