Second Registry Completed for Development of Public Amenities Around Shri Banke Bihari Temple

2027.01.27 (Vrindavan Today News): In the gracious presence of Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Sugarcane Development and Sugar Mills Department, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary, District Magistrate Shri Chandra Prakash Singh, and Additional District Magistrate (Finance & Revenue) Dr. Pankaj Kumar Verma, the process of the second registry under the public amenities development/construction project around Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple was successfully completed.
Under this sacred initiative, the seller Shri Manish Mishra, resident of House No. 25-A, Biharipura, Vrindavan, Mathura, executed the sale deed of 322.32 square meters of land in the name of Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Ji (Deity) through the Tehsildar Sadar. The purchase value of the land is ₹1,85,36,704/- (Rupees One Crore Eighty-Five Lakh Thirty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred Four only
Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary stated that the development of public amenities around Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple is of immense importance from the perspective of the religious, cultural, and tourism development of the Braj region. He emphasized that the government is giving the highest priority to the convenience, safety, and smooth darshan of devotees.


District Magistrate Shri Chandra Prakash Singh stated,
“All procedures related to land acquisition for the development/construction of public amenities around the temple are being carried out with complete transparency and in accordance with legal processes. The administration is fully committed to completing the project in a time-bound manner.”
This registry marks another significant milestone in the implementation of the public amenities development project around Shri Banke Bihari Ji Temple, which will enable the provision of improved facilities for devotees in the future.
The second registry represents a concrete step toward the development of grand and divine public amenities around the temple. With the development of these facilities, devotees will receive enhanced services and conveniences. Acting under the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the High Powered Management Committee and the district administration remain continuously dedicated to ensuring strong and effective arrangements for devotees.
This project will not only make darshan more accessible but will also elevate the overall development of the entire Braj region. The construction and development of public amenities around the temple will meet modern requirements while preserving the ancient sanctity and spiritual grandeur of Vrindavan. This monumental development will give Braj’s cultural heritage a renewed identity on the global stage and make the path of darshan easier for devotees of Thakur Ji.
Under the public amenities development/construction project, provisions will be made for a safe environment, seating arrangements, drinking water facilities, and smooth entry and exit gates for devotees. These measures will reduce crowd pressure in the narrow lanes surrounding the temple. The development of public amenities around the temple will promote religious tourism and lead to the generation of greater employment opportunities.
