2023.06.23 (Vrindavan Today News): In a bid to preserve traditional values and combat the influence of western culture, the management committee of Ladli ji Temple of Shri Dham Barsana has introduced a new regulation for entering in the Temple premises. The temple authorities have forbidden the entry in short clothes, including Bermudas, half-pants, mini-skirts and night-suits. It has also barred the entry of the visitors in temple wearing torn jeans.
Concerned about the growing trend of immodest clothing among visitors, the Temple Management Committee has taken a firm stance on maintaining the sanctity of the sacred site. Banners in the form of notice boards have been prominently displayed at the entrance and exit points of the temple, as well as within the temple premises, conveying the new regulation.
Ras Vihari Goswami, the spokesperson for the Temple Management Committee, emphasized that only devotees dressed in modest attire will be granted entry to the temple. Those failing to adhere to the dress code will be humbly asked to appreciate the divine presence of Radha Rani from outside the temple.
This decision has been made to protect the traditional customs and values associated with the Ladliji Temple. The management committee hopes that this new rule will foster a sense of reverence and decorum among the visitors and help maintaining the spiritual ambiance of the temple.
As devotees flock to Barsana’s Ladliji Temple from far and wide, it is essential to honor the traditions and customs that have been cherished for generations. By enforcing this dress code, the temple management committee aims to uphold the sanctity of the temple and create an atmosphere of reverence for Radha Rani.
