20124.01.07 (Vrindavan Today News): The Mathura-Vrindavan Municipal Corporation is set to establish a Senior Citizen Care Center in Vrindavan, with an estimated cost of two crore rupees. This facility aims to provide every amenity for the elderly to spend their days comfortably. Operated by the municipal corporation, the center will also facilitate yoga sessions specifically designed for seniors.
This initiative intends to cater to retired individuals or those living separately from their families, extending the services previously available only in Govind Nagar, Mathura, to Vrindavan. The corporation plans to utilize the vacant land behind the Fogla Ashram for this purpose.
The Senior Citizen Care Center will feature a library, a television room, and ample arrangements for relaxation. Additionally, a yoga center will be established to enable the elderly to engage in yoga practices. The facility will also offer the provision for devotional singing sessions, spiritual gatherings, and an opportunity for seniors to share their experiences.
With an anticipated cost of two crore rupees, the municipal corporation is swiftly moving towards approving the proposal and initiating construction. The center will operate from 8 AM to 8 PM, providing daytime services without overnight accommodation.
It is woth to be noted that a similar Senior Citizen Care Center has been operational in Govind Nagar, near Shri Krishna Janmabhumi in Mathura.
“Plans are underway to establish a Senior Citizen Care Center near the Fogla Ashram in Vrindavan, estimated to cost around two crore rupees.
