2022.10.06 (Vrindavan Today News): The fight between Dr. Laxmi Gautam and Mahant Fuldol Bihari Das took an ugly turn when the Mahant accused her of demanding extortion money of a million. Dr. Laxmi Gautam had filed an FIR against Mahant Fuldol Bihari Das accusing him of sending a nude photo of a man on her whatsapp. The police are investigating both the cases.
Dr. Gautam was conferred the title of Mahamandaleshwar sometime back by an Akhara. According to the report, Mahamandaleshwar (Dr) Laxmi Gautam, claimed that Chaitanya Kuti’s Mahant Fooldol Bihari Das had sent her a nude picture on 25th May this year, intending to insult her modesty.
The case took a turn when the defensive allegations were recorded on Tuesday. The Mahant claimed to have publicly objected to the awarding of the ‘Mahamandaleshwar’ title in an unconventional manner, as it is only conferred by the traditional monasteries (Akhadas) during the Kumbh Mela. According to the Mahant the title was given by someone who is not authorized to give the title.
The Mahant said that the conspiracy was plotted against him as he had objected to the conferment of the Mahamandaleshwar title to the lady. He also said that a Naga Saint lives in his ashram, whose photo was taken by some miscreant from his ashram, and sent to all the contacts fed on his mobile phone. He even apologized for this deed publicly. She was not alone to whom this photo was sent.
He further claimed that she and her associates were demanding extortion money, threatening to take legal action for sending the photo. Enraged for failing to get the extortion money, the lady Mahamandaleshwar hatched the conspiracy against him.
Several organizations of sadhus and Dharmaraksha Sangh came in support of Mahant Fuldol Das against the conspiracy. They said that the saint is 90 years old and the President of the Chatursampradaya Virakt Vaishnava Parishad. He doesn’t even know how to operate whatsapp or any other social media account.
