The Temple Committee has laid down specific guidelines for participating in the Mahabhishek of the Lord due to the ongoing pandemic of Covid -19. The advisory includes mandatory mask-wearing and maintaining social distance.
A new arrangement has been made for entering the temple during the Mahabhishek. The devotees have to enter the temple through the ‘Patit Pavan Dwar’. The devotees will have to pass through the newly constructed hall located beside the temple to reach the ‘Patitpavan Dwar’. Given the rising number of devotees during the festivals, the temple management has decided to streamline the crowd movement.
There will be barricading in place to regulate the devotees’ movement in the temple. Due to the barricading the devotees will have to keep on moving and can’t stand inside the temple to view the complete Mahabhishek. They will have only the glimpse of the ‘Mahabhishek’. The devotees can make exit from both the Singhapaur gates i.e the gates used to enter the temple in normal times.
The temple has also issued guidelines that it will not allow photography with the mobile phones. A separate arrangement has been made for the Camera persons and the press photographers.
People will not be allowed to bring milk inside the temple for abhishek. Those devotees interested in making contribution in the abhishek may deposit their offering with the temple committee. The guideline signed by the Temple Management Committee Secretary Shri Vibhu raman Goswami also states that no extra panchamrita will be given even to those who make offering for the ‘prkatyotsava’. Entry into the temple kitchen will be prohibited. Panchamrita will not be distributed from the temple kitchen.
Shri Radharaman Dev ju’s appearance day holds immense significance for his devotees, and the temple committee has requested all the devotees to adhere to the guidelines and directions for a safe and devotional celebration.
