2022.07.28 (Vrindavan Today News): The Mathura Police will soon launch a new facility which will enable people to file first information report through the whatsapp application on their smartphone. This initiative will be aimed at helping the the tourists and pilgrims, who want to report, suggest or update the police about any criminal incidence during their visit to Braj area in Mathura District.
Mathura SSP Shri Abhisekh Yadav said that if the tourists face any untoward incidence, they don’t have to worry going to police station for lodging the complaint. Soon the police will issue a helpline number in which one can make lodge a complaint, the copy of the report will be sent to the complainant on his whatsapp. The SSP said that he will monitor the follow up action after the report is lodged.
This drastic step of the SSP, who has recently taken charge of Mathura will improve the system in-order to maintain law and order. Soon the visitors can complain their grievances on mobile. Shri Yadav promised that a prompt action will be taken immediately which is utmost necessary for everyone to have a blissful journey in the spiritual destination of Mathura – Vrindavan..
Talking to the media Shri Yadav said, “We are trying to improve the traffic system in Mathura- Vrindavan. We have already begun the process of allotting the routes to the E-rickshaws. Soon the color codes will represent the different routes. They are being given color codes for the different routes, so that one can easily identify the routes in which they would ply.” ” We are are also determining the rate lists of for the different routes, which will be displayed in all the major places of the twin-cities and in the E-rickshaws and auto – rickshaws,” said the SSP.
This move of the Mathura Police will ensure that the tourists are not cheated by charging more money for travelling small distances. Punishable measures will be taken against those who don’t follow the rate list.
