BTVP officials recently surveyed the project site
2021-08-10 (Vrindavan Today News): After a nearly five-year delay caused due to financial constraints, the administration has delegated the responsibility for the construction of the proposed 1000-seater auditorium in Mathrua-Vrindavan, to BTVP.
On Monday, BTVP CEO Nagendra Pratap and his team of officials surveyed the project site located near the 100-bed hospital in Vrindavan.
The estimated cost of the project is ₹32.5 cr, of which a sum of ₹5cr has been utilized earlier. Along with the auditorium, the construction plan also includes parking, canteen, pump house, and a residence for the guard. The Water Works Department is expected to take the stalled project forward with the help of ₹8cr fund, recently sanctioned by the BTVP. An expert team from IIT Roorkee will be in Vrindavan in coming days to oversee the construction work. It will be joined by auditorium experts from Mumbai, and architects from Lucknow.
