These golf carts will be available for the tourists at the Parking areas, where visitors can park their cars and take its services to reach the Banke Bihari and other temples of Vrindavan. It was felt that the tourists face in inconvenience of having their vehicles stopped at a considerable distance from the Banke Bihari Temple, and from there, they need to find their own way to reach their destinations on foot or by using the e-rickshaws. This situation is particularly challenging for the elderly, women and children who may find e-rickshaws uncomfortable due to the absence of shock absorbers in them, resulting in a bumpy ride.

Taking these inconveniences into account, the U.P. Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad has introduced golf carts for a comfortable journey inside the city.  It has procured 30 golf carts, with 20 allocated for Vrindavan and the remaining 10 for Govardhan.

While these golf carts will be made available at the parking area, allowing pilgrims and tourists to park their vehicles and then comfortably travel to the Banke Bihari Temple or other locations, it will be deployed along the Parikrama Marg, in Govardhan, offering an enjoyable and convenient alternative for those who find e-rickshaws less accommodating.

Furthermore, the Golf carts will help the District Administration during the VIP visits.  These carts can be used to take the VIPs to the temples safely situated in the small lanes of Vrindavan. Previously, VIPs had to rely on golf carts brought from outside the District, which was not always convenient.

The 30 golf carts, procured by the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad will mark a significant step in improving the pilgrimage experience in Vrindavan and Govardhan. This initiative aims to enhance the convenience and accessibility of these sacred destinations and make the visit to these holy places more enjoyable for devotees and tourists.
