Corridor to impact 323 buildings valued at 220 cr: Survey

The final report, to be presented in the court on 17 January, will be handed over to DM Pulkit Khare in a couple of days.

2023.01.09 (Vrindavan Today News): The proposed Banke Bihari Corridor will impact 323 buildings whose valuation has been pegged at 200-220 cr by the eight member team of PWD and tax department officials, chaired by Mathura municipal commissioner Anunay Jha.

After six days of rigorous survey, the committee has identified 323 buildings – residential and commercial, that will be impacted by the Corridor that is proposed to come up in an area of 5 acres. Base rates of Rs. 60-70,000 per sqm for commercial buildings and Rs. 16000 per sqm for residential, were used to arrive at a valuation of 200-220 crore. The estimate was prepared while factoring in the cost of development at Rs.9000 per sqm.

The final report, to be presented in the court on 17 January, will be handed over to DM Pulkit Khare in a couple of days, informed Jha.
