Two New Buses Provided for Vrindavan to Ayodhya Bus Service

2023.06.05 (Vrindavan Today News): The Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) has launched a new bus service connecting the holy city of Vrindavan in Mathura to Ayodhya, in response to the government’s prioritization of improved transportation facilities. To cater to the growing demand, the UPSRTC has allocated two additional buses to Mathura.

According to Station Director Santosh Agrawal, the fare for the journey from Vrindavan to Ayodhya has been fixed at Rs. 860, while the fare from Mathura to Ayodhya will be Rs. 836. The bus service will operate on a specific schedule, with the first bus departing from Mathura at 4 PM and reaching Vrindavan. From Vrindavan, the bus will depart at 6:30 PM and arrive back at Mathura. Subsequently, the bus will leave Mathura at 8 PM to embark on its journey to Ayodhya.

The route will take the buses through Agra on the expressway, enabling passengers to enjoy a comfortable and efficient journey. The buses are scheduled to reach Ayodhya at 7:45 AM the following morning. After spending the day in Ayodhya, the bus will depart at 5 PM and arrive back at Vrindavan at 6:30 AM the next day.

To accommodate the increased service, the depot in Mathura has received two new buses, which were delivered on Thursday. Checking in-charge Jayaprakash Shukla said that the 2 new additions will help meet the rising demand for transportation between Vrindavan and Ayodhya. The introduction of these new buses aims to enhance connectivity between two prominent religious sites in Uttar Pradesh. Pilgrims and travelers alike can now conveniently and comfortably commute between Vrindavan and Ayodhya, fostering greater ease of access to these culturally significant destinations.
