Various development initiatives to tune of ₹1209 lakhs are underway on the Parikrama Marg.
Vrindavan, 2021-08-23 (Vrindavan Today News): With a view to enhancing the experience of the millions of devotees who come every year for Govardhan Parikrama, the BTVP is working on building a ‘feel good’ factor for this most popular of religious observances associated with Braj.
Various development initiatives to tune of ₹1209 lakhs are underway on the Parikrama Marg. These include installation of railings, RCC hume pipes, bollards and curved red stones for beautification. Care will be taken to maintain uniformity all along the path on the UP border. The BTVP has as yet not been able to obtain an NOC from the Rajasthan Government, hence the areas bordering the state will not be covered, at least for now.
The project for beautification of the Parikrama Marg started almost a-year-and-a-half ago in 2019, but kept stalling due to the pandemic. However, with the initiative picking up steam now, it is expected that the pending work will be completed within a month’s time, informed BTVP- junior engineer Bhagwan Singh.
